Hello!

Program Founder | STEM Educator | Youth Advocate

With over 15 years of experience in youth mental health and a background in Mathematics and Microbiology, I’ve dedicated my career to supporting young people through hands-on, engaging STEM education. I believe in a whole-person approach—nurturing not just knowledge, but confidence, curiosity, and connection. Through the STEM Explorers Club, my mission is to create a fun, inclusive space where all students feel empowered to explore, discover, and lead.

My Story

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.

My journey into STEM education and youth development has been shaped by both academic curiosity and a deep commitment to supporting young people as whole individuals. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and spent over three years immersed in the study of Microbiology—but my greatest lessons have come from working directly with youth over the past 15 years.

My background is rooted in youth mental health, where I’ve focused on a whole-person approach—nurturing not just minds, but hearts, confidence, and creativity. Over the years, I’ve seen how powerful it can be when students feel safe, seen, and inspired—and how STEM, when made accessible and fun, can be a life-changing spark.

This after-school program was born from my passion to bring hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math to students in a way that feels exciting, empowering, and meaningful. I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to explore, experiment, and discover—not just as future professionals, but as curious thinkers and problem-solvers today.

Here, we’re building more than just robots and rockets. We’re building confidence, curiosity, and community.

When I’m not designing STEM activities or mentoring young minds, you might find me hiking a local trail, working on a DIY science project, or simply laughing alongside the students I’ve been lucky to work with.

Thanks for stopping by and for taking an interest in the STEM Explorers Club. Whether you’re a parent, volunteer, student, or supporter—there’s a place for you in our story.
